Detection of open / closed status of cleaning fluid supply valve
The fiber head section contains no electric parts, thus allowing installation in a situation where high throughput is required but a conventional micro photoelectric sensor cannot be used, such as an environment dried with IPA (isopropyl alcohol) vapor.

Detection of dog during lifting / lowering of port (in high-temperature environment)
The FT-PK40H1 withstands heat of +100 °C +212 °F so it can be used in high-temperature environments such as thermal diffusion furnaces.

Three protection circuits standard on all models
All models are standardly equipped with the following protection circuits in their compact bodies. These protection circuits minimize the possibility of sensor malfunctions caused by erroneous wiring.
1) Reverse supply polarity protection circuit
2) Reverse output polarity protection circuit
3) Output short-circuit protection circuit

Note: Note that the sensing range of the free-cut type fiber may be reduced by 20 % max. depending upon how the fiber is cut.
