Direct transfer of high-precision measurement values
New Communication Unit for the HG-T and HG-S Series!
- December 2019 Compatible with self-monitoring function.
- EtherCAT communication unit SC-HG1-ETC : Compatible
- CC-Link IE Field communication unit SC-HG1-CEF : Units shipped in and after December 2019 are compatible.
- CC-Link communication unit SC-HG1-C : Units manufactured in and after December 2019 are compatible.
- RS-485 communication unit SC-HG1-485 : Units manufactured on and after November 18, 2019 are compatible.
Features
Direct Connection to High-Speed EtherCAT [SC-HG1-ETC]
Acquires various numeric data from thru-beam type digital displacement sensor HG-T series and contact-type digital displacement sensor HG-S series and allows change of their settings.
- Connects HG-T / HG-S series digital displacement sensors directly to EtherCAT!
- Enables change of various settings all at once.
Allows switching of controller's internal banks. - Obtains high-accuracy measurement data without a program.

USB-based PC setting software
HG-T Configuration Tool
When the USB-based PC setting software, "HG-T Configuration Tool," is used together with the USB communication unit SC-HG1-USB or RS-485 communication unit SC-HG1-485, current values and settings in the HG-T series can be confirmed and changed using a PC.

The termination resistor switching jumper pin is not attached to the product at the factory.
Attach the termination resistor switching jumper pin to the unit at the terminating end.
Make sure that the termination resistor switching jumper pin have been removed from all units except the one at the terminating end.
