EU 97/129/EC mandatory in Italy with the Decree no. 116 - 03.09.2020

Italy adopted a new legal requirement as part of its national Circular Economy Action Plan to make the application of this EU Decision mandatory from 1 Jan 2022, which results in packaging indication requirements that need to be applied to all kinds of packaging materials.
